Paul & Ellie have been married (nearly) 10 years!

Unfortunately, we’ve made the hard decision to cancel the party. Love to you all!

Visiting Eastern Oregon

Whether it’s your first time in the American West or it's your old stomping grounds, Pendleton and the surrounding area have plenty to offer. Here’s what you need to know to make the most of your stay:

Things To Do

  • Pendleton Underground Tours

  • Tamástslikt Cultural Institute – museum on the local Tribes

  • Pendleton Woolen Mills Tour

  • Pendleton Arts Center – galleries + gift shop

  • Airport Lady Antiques – it’s a vibe

  • Farmer’s Market – Fridays at 4 PM

  • Wildhorse Casino & Resort

Where To Stay

  • You can probably stay with us if you’re visiting, but if you’d like your own space:

  • Motolodge — if you're interested let us know

  • Wildhorse Casino & Resort

  • The Working Girls Hotel – quirky & historic, downtown

  • Pendleton also has tons of Airbnbs. Look early if you're traveling with a group!

Flying Here

Fly into Portland (PDX)
About 3.5 – 4 hours by car to Pendleton with an absolutely stunning drive through the Columbia River Gorge
Boutique Air also runs daily short flights from PDX directly to PendletonFly into Pasco, WA or Walla Walla, WA
Both are only about an hour from Pendleton. We'll easily be able to pick you up!

Weather

  • Eastern Oregon in the summer is beautiful — but don’t underestimate the heat.

  • Expect temps in the 90s°F (30s°C) during the day

  • Dry air = little humidity. Which means the evenings cool down — bring a light jacket

  • Most venues will have shade and AC, but pack smart if you're adventuring

Miscellaneous

  • You’ll probably need a car. There's a basic bus system here and Uber though too!

  • Wi-Fi and mobile coverage are solid in town, patchy in the countryside or hills.

  • Tipping: Standard U.S. rates apply (15–20% in restaurants, etc.).

  • Locals are friendly and curious — Northern Irish accents may cause a stir (in a good way).
